there are some emoticons used in computer communication espeacially in MSN.
I'm sure we all are familiar with it.
for example, :-) means smile and :-( means sad.
all these emoticons help you to display emotions when you are chatting online with friends.
finally, i wish Mr. Murali "Happy Deepavali" and my groupmates "good luck" for the coming exam. (^.^)
